Sharons June choices

this church is in Bassendean and really not possible to shoot from a distance, houses all close by.

I kinda like this one of the same church taken from the back, I like it peeping through the bare branches

this one was taken inside the church in Guildford, the caretaker saw me taking photo's outside and kindly asked if i would like to see inside, I love the bones of this church taken from inside.

This is the lectern in the church a memorial to a mans wife about 1904, seems  sort of American to me, but it is beautiful never the less

this is my motion photo of the fountain some of the ducks where moving too but bit far away.  In the same park as the church and originally the park was the Guildford Village green.

at least I could take this photo from further away, the church was all different angles which I found hard to make an interesting photo.

graffitti, had a lovely day out get a few more shots for the challenge, this graffiti is very comic strip style but makes a statement.

Sharon's choice

old house, this is the old house I was telling you about Sharon, for some reason it is a protected house, not very architecturally grand, however they where not allowed to put it down so they have put massive concrete piles below it and then excavated all around it to a massive depth.  A multi story building is going all around it, how bizarre is that.

front view, as there is a big wire mesh fence with plastic cloth attached we could only photograph where other people have managed to pull bits down, so we had to place our lens in one of the diamond triangles in the fence.  I think the house was used as a squat for homeless people, it is in Northbridge in the city.

this is taken from the opposite side, you can tell how deep they have excavated, these large machinery drove right underneath the house.

not quite sure what you wanted for photo's taken up or down, but this is my down photo

My choices for June

heritage house, Tranby house, you will notice Phil and I have a lot of photo's taken at the same place, we had a day out taking photo's for our challenge.  My black and white photo's are taken on my camera not changed to b/w.

Tranby house is not far from where mum and dad lived and where caretakers of flats in Maylands, right on the river, a beautiful spot

We had fun trying to get photo's of these swans and ducks, it was preening time and catching them with their heads up was quite a challenge

who can stand on one leg the longest? and a lone sea gull just for contrast

early morning fog this week

practise run with porta shade for Canning Bridge Art Market, not a lot of room in the back yard, this cost me nothing I used things I had, two long drop sheets usually used to put on trestles at fairs, silk ribbon, a sign I had and just stamped my business name on, a garland of roses that used to sit on the bedhead.  I can envision all sort of things to make it different, ivy, swags of lace or tulle, oh the mind is in overdrive and its all Phils fault..... and I am loving it
